Café Queen: Pottery Lunch

Madison Cowper will be hosting a pottery experience with an optional meal at the wonderful Queen's Café in Waiuku, on Saturday, 24th January 11:00-3:00PM

Whether you're a complete beginner or a more experienced craft lover, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to hone in on your skills and broaden your knowledge and experience working with this raw, dynamic material. This fun, relaxed and playful workshop will focus on making a variety of hand-built vessels such as tea-ware, mugs and vases, and bringing your own ideas and projects is heavily encouraged. Take your first step as a potter or ignite an old passion with this inspirational, open and educational workshop experience.

There are three pricing tier options for this event.
At $135, this event includes all materials, including ceramic paints and various clay choices, professional firing and glazing, and a meal and beverage from Queen's delicious menu will be available for a lunch or dinner service. 
At $105, you get the full experience of art-making without a meal or drink included.
We have also opened slots at $45, for those who would love to join and need financial assistance to do so. This option does not include a meal or drink.
All tiered prices of this workshop include glazing and firing.

Madison is an artist and potter with almost a decade of practical experience and a BFA from Whitecliffe College. She has collaborated with and studied under some of New Zealand’s leading artists and designers, and has led over six hundred art workshops across New Zealand and Hawai‘i, in settings as varied as markets, forests, galleries, high schools, festivals and Buddhist academies.
